Dear Schenectady Resident:
You did not mention the relation you have with this person's child or that custody of the child is supervised by a court. If the child is living with you, how could your door bell not be at the entrance to the apartment you and the child live in?
If there is a court order directing custody then this may be a violation of the visitation part of the order. If so, you may complain about the manner of the father's attempts to gain your attention when he seeks a visit with his child.
The answer provided to you is in the nature of general information. The general proposition being that you should try to avoid a bad outcome if you can.
