Hi, my name is Christopher. About 3 yrs. ago I was diagnosed with "Stomach Cancer" AND PRETTY MUCH LOST EVERYTHING THAT I WORKED HARD FOR. all within a 2 year period. I lost 3 homes, my car, and my family. I'm on SSI disability now. I've since moved in with my mother, who has Alzheimer's. It is a tremendous hardship just taking care of her, let alone having to deal with my own health issues. She lives in a Senior Citizen apartment that is under HUD rule. They tell me that I have to be 62 yrs. old to be on the lease, I've been there for about 2-1/2 yrs. now and because the building is under HUD rule I don't see why I can not be put on the lease, because of being disabled. I need advice about how I can secure my living arraignment if my mother needs to be placed in a Nursing Home. Thank You
I don't think you can do anything. Age restricted housing has continuously been approved by the courts.
