I'm on probation and was walking down the street and the police stopped me and searched me, found a very small amount of drugs on me, put me in the police car and then drove me to where my RV was parked, they searched it , found nothing...But still impunded my RV. My Rv is legal and regestered. Did they have the right to do so? If its sounds like it the didnt ...how do i proceed on getting them to release it to me? they are charginfg me $1000.00 at the tow yard.
File a 1538.5 or a 1540 motion. Those are penal code sections. Do it quick before your RV is sold. You ask the court to release the RV. You have to get in front of a judge and file an order for the court to file.
