Hello, I am having problems from a stalker who lives in the United Kingdom, I myself am from Canada. To make a long story short, this person has been harassing me for a very long time now online. I have evidence of the messages he’s been sending me from loads of fake accounts. He hasn’t threatened me or anything which is why the police in my area have failed to do anything. I am considering going to a lawyer and I just want to know, can a lawyer do things for me that the police could not? Perhaps you could give me some advice on what I could do since the police will do nothing for me. Thank you!
An attorney could contact this person and make a demand that they cease and desist. It may work.
