It is court order that I transport my children to their father at 4pm on Friday every other weekend and 2-3 times during the week however I have new employment and it no long works with my work schedule. My ex and I agreed to have me transport them to him at 6pm because it works out with my work schedule however child support kicked in and he no longer wants to work with me on the issue. What can I do? If I can't take at 4 and take them at 6 will I get In trouble? My ex does not want to negotiate anything about this and is being extremely difficult.
He will likely file something with the court, but I suggest filing first, requesting a modification of the schedule; your proposed action is necessary if not "as ordered" and he will likely look entirely unreasonable for not agreeing to the necessary modification without court assistance.
If your current order say 4 pm, then you need to take immediate action to change that. File your Request for Orders immediately.
