I babysit someone kids and this person hasn’t paid me back like at least 200 dollars if I’m 14 could I take them to court with a parent
If a minor is owed money, the parent can sue the other party on behalf of their minor child. This could be done at the local Magistrate's office where you babysat. It is pretty easy for an individual to file suit, and an attorney is not necessary for small claims court proceedings.
Unfortunately $200 is usually not worth suing for - the cost of filing suit and taking off from work/school to appear at court, as well as the difficult task of collecting if the defendant refuses to pay - usually makes it cost prohibitive.
Also, as this matter is breach of agreement to pay, I think this is better suited for the Contracts & Agreements section rather than child support.
