I recently received my COS from L2 to F1(which was raised on early Nov 2015) as my husband is planning to go back on 7th May. Meanwhile I have already registered for summer and fall classes as I am almost finished with my spring sem. The problem is the COS to F1 is valid from 23rd July which past commencement of my summer class(5th July). The subject I took for summer is a prerequisite for another subject that I am registered in fall so this is getting complicated academically speaking. So my question is, Can the dates on COS approval form be changed if requested to USCIS? If yes, how do raise such request. If not, is there another solution to this problem?
May be the school's DSO can assist provide options.
