Convicted felony?
I am convicted felony on a bad check issue to my landlord, for payment for 3 months rent for over 5(k). In the state of Louisiana I was placed on 5yrs probation, community services, resitution, and court cost.I want to know is there any legal advice that you can give me to get off of probation since this is my first time begin in trouble, and just pay on the resitution or could my probation officer speak for me to get me off of paying for probation.

Under Louisiana Code of Criminal Procedure Article 896, a court may, at any time during the probation period, modify, change, or discharge the conditions of probation, or add further conditions authorized by Article 895. You will need to petition the court for relief.
