I received my Green Card in July 2015 while residing in Canada. since then, I've been coming in and out to the U.S every few months due to work and family travel up until July 2017 where my family and I moved to Dallas and have been residing and working in Dallas since. I want to know if the period between July 2015 to July 2017 would count towards my continuous residency and physical presence? Note that in total during that time period (July 2015 - July 2017) I've done 8 trips in total (in and out of the U.S) while counting the days of my physical presence in the U.S adds to (42 days) for that period. Note that all trips were less than 6 months apart, typically every 3-4 months between each trip. The reason I'm asking is because I want to know when I'm eligible to apply for the U.S citizenship based on the 3-years marriage rule knowing that my physical presence in total adds up to more than 20 months since receiving my Green Card.
