In 2015 an agreement and an order from the court on a DOM with a child was entered into. I was not present and unrepresented at that time, my attorney had just withdrawn. I was filing papers through the e-portal and in direct communication with every clerk and the civil department regarding the fact that I was unrepresented and in a custody case where my ex is asking for sole custody, I needed someone to help me. I took a deposition, never signing any paper regarding confidentiality records, and was asked numerous questions regarding my health and care, that I thought to be a violation of HIPPA, when I expressed my concern I was told by my attorney at the time to answer the question, did I hear it or need it repeated? She was unsure if the questions were violating my privacy rights. So, I answered every question to incriminate myself because the other attorney new what she was doing. To this day I have not received a final judgement of DOM, nor a time sharing schedule and my ex is alienating me and my child is brain washed. I can tell in our relationship, she's almost 13. I'm mourning her because when she goes, I never know when or if she'll be back, like when he kept her for 6 mos
I'm having a hard time following your question. It seems that there was an agreement in 2015 and an Order. The best thing would be to talk a copy of your court paperwork and have a consultation with an experienced family law attorney. That way you would have an answer as to if anything is open on your case and how to finish it if it is, and your rights under any existing order.
