Base policy only allows smoking in designated areas. our company refuses to enforce our smoking policy, or state law in that matter. Navy base policy states thier in no smoking on "Navy owned or leasesd spaces, buildings, ships, craft, and vehicles. All personnel are prohibited fro using tobacco products in any area indoor or outdoor, around the base and it facilities, that have not been specifically designated a tobacco-use area." shouldnt there be No Smoking on our boats as well according to base policy? boats secured at pier on base when not in use. stationed at base 24/7/365. thank you
Likely yes. Depends in part on the contract between the govt and the boat provider.

"Only smoke in designated smoking areas aboard ship during those
