My son who has just turned 19 and joined the Army, recently made his Facebook profile public. I was reading through some posts made last month in June. My son had posted that he has been living in Chandler TX since his Jr. Year in High School. I paid child support to my ex husband who has been and is still living in South Carlonia. I live in CA. Can I make my husband pay me back the child support he collected from my sons Jr year through senior year in High School since our son was not under his care? My son was not even living in the same state as my ex husband.

Don't do this alone.

This is not easily answered. If your ex husband supporting your son, then it’s not outrageous to have him be the recipient of support. On the other hand, he wasn’t spending time with the child and I don’t know how court what deal with that.
The only way for you to find out is to bring it up. This could vary from court to court and from judge to judge. There’s no way to be certain other than to show up.
