Arrested for aggravated assault. It didn't happen and there was no proof, damages, Injuries proving it did or didn't happen. It was a he said she said scenairo. Long story short, I was given community service and the case disposition was nolle pros.
I was arrested in January 2018. Filed expungement in July 2018. The expungement is going to the judges desk April 2019 and no one objected to the petition. I am young, no other criminal record, have a job, house, family, honorable discharge from US armed forces.
Is it likely from these facts stated that the judge would approve the petition given that no one objected?
While you still have time retain a competent criminal attorney IMMEDIATELY as you will have only one decent shot to complete the opposition hearing the right way with diligent preparation as the alternative of a denial will be much worse for your future.
