I was riding with 3 friends. We just dropped off to others at there apartment complex. When the light went green we took a right hand turn and the sun was in my eyes (left side) I turned my head to get a good look of my surroundings. I let off the throttle (around 20-25 mph) but, notice the front guy was moving up so I gunned it and my front wheel came up kinda high which scared me and I threw my body at the bike but, notice I will still holding the throttle. So, the wheelie was about (1-2.5 secs) I can do wheelies but, that one was unintentional After he checked my information he came back and said "This isn't a threat but, if you do fight it in court I will "adjurn" (or something) and change the careless driving to reckless driving) I kinda took it as a threat. Any help with this?
Talk to a local traffic lawyer. In my area, the charge is careless and imprudent driving is basically the same as reckless driving. Talk to a lawyer. At least over the phone before court
