Car accident in Massachusetts. Other driver 100% at fault. Car was totalled, trip to ER and seeing chiropractor for back injury. Both parties fully insured with collision and medical. I have medial insurance as well. I expect over $2k in medical expenses. I want to pursue pain & suffering as well.
Question- I know Massachusetts is a no fault state, however is it best to open a claim for PIP from my own auto insurance company, or should i open a claim with other persons insurance? Its my understanding that if you want pain/suffering and its ove 2k, best to go through other insurance.
I you plan to involve a lawyer you should do so immediately, and I would generally advise it.
