We have an open dss case in south carolina where the the children are placed with my mother in law. I just completed my requested treatment. However my husband has not yet. My job is relocating me and will be closer to my family. Is there a way to get children and case transfered to the new state?
Well, maybe. But odds are better that the kids will be left with grandma until dad finishes his requirements. You will likely be fine to move yourself though. Contact your case worker and explain. See what options you are given.
