Ok I was at toys r us and i shoplifter and i guess later they reviewed the tapes and confirmed the chargers but what the camera don't know isms the workwr at the check out stand told me it was ok to go ahead an leave
Yes they can charge you, the tape is evidence. Just because the clerk didn't know you didn't pay is not relevant.

Er....probably should keep to your self the reason 'why' a clerk said you could leave.
That doesn't make any sense. clerks don't normally say to customers they can leave.
