My companies comp insurance company is not paying me every two weeks as I understand they should be? I go three plus weeks without receiving my checks, I have to call or email and complain in order to get them released. I cannot count on any steady income, The amount they pay me is always different and even after filling out a C240 that NYS comp told them they had to or be fined, I have not received any back pay for the adjusted amount. Because of this (my truck was repossessed due to their inability to release my payments in any sort of timely manner, and it cost me an extra 300. to get it back) I can't make doctors appointments without borrowing gas money half the time because it goes 4 weeks with no income. So I'm wondering should I hire a lawyer or get a Comp advocate so that my rights are being followed, or should I turn them into NYS workers comp board. Any information is greatly appreciated
