Someone from Chicago Illinois, I reside in N.Y. , managed to stole my identity for two vehicles and the license plate with it and managed to rack up 4 tickets back in 2016. I've just recently received a letter of notice of the red light tickets from the city's attorney (I'm assuming their collection agencies) and from what I gathered from the City's ticketing online portal, my options to challenge the ticket has been long forfeited? Despite that am I still able to contest it? I've already filed for identity theft back in 2016 with Chicago police department and have the police reports as proof.
I suggest you retain the services of a Chicago attorney to contest these tickets. That would save you a trip to Chicago. You can use the "Find a Lawyer" tab above, or contact the Chicago Lawyer Referral Service at 312-554-2001. Law Offices of Theodore Gailan
