I have gotten 3 DWI's. The last 2 were in 2009. Since then I have went to 2 hearings and I was not successful. So I figure I need some legal help. I would love to get my license back and move on with my life, so let me know if you can help.
So no DWI’s since 2009? Yes, you will come out better with a lawyer at a hearing because they genuinely are like a trial and defending yourself at trial is tough. Even lawyers like myself who regularly represent clients in hearings would hire a lawyer to help. I have tried a few DWI cases in Randolph Co as well as in Guilford and have done DWI Hearings across the state. Bad thing about Hearings now is that since 1/1/18 the hearings are no longer free- NCDMV charges a (my opinion- high) fee which can only be avoided if you can prove you’re too broke to pay. You will need a current copy of your. cDMV record to get started regardless of the lawyer you choose,
