Can you leave the USA while in removal proceedings?
3 attorney answers
If you leave the United States while you are in removal proceedings you will self deport. You can ask your attorney to request voluntary departure from the immigration judge or you can have your attorney filed a joint motion with DHS to terminate your proceedings in order for you to depart the United States.
You would be best requesting voluntary departure from the court.

YEs you can. Keep in mind that your leaving the country while in removal proceedings will amount to self deportation. In addition, once the hearing comes up and you do not show up, the judge will order you removed in your absence. You be better served to inform the judge, ask to withdraw your application for asylum and work with the DHS to agree to terminate proceedings against you so you would be in removal proceedings when you leave.
