I live in Florida (Boca Raton). Two days back I was driving back home after work. I had to check something on phone so I pulled to an apartment complex parking lot and drove around to find visitor parking . I drove around same place two or three times and did not find appropriate parking lot. The security of complex watching at me. I parked in a parking lot . The security guard approached me in his car , honked twice and parked few parking lots away from me. I waited a minute if he will come to me but he did not. So I left the parking lot.
I wonder if this can be considered as trespassing? Can I get ticket in mail based on my car plate for trespassing? Today I got three calls from unknown number I missed the calls but I wonder if cops are trying to reach me Is It possible that cop will call you and not leave any message.
1) Stay out of apartment complexes that you have no business being in and then you won't have to worry about any of this.
2) If you get a ticket in the mail then hire a ticket lawyer.
3) I get 15 unknown calls a day - usually from telemarketers. Obviously I have no clue who called oyu but I doubt it was the cops. I'd like to think that the cops are slightly more occupied in Boca than to be hunting you down (unless, of course, there was a burglary or some other crime committed in or about the parking lot that you had no business pulling into, driving around, parking and ultimately leaving) over a trespass.
4) If the cops do call you then shut-up. Do not give them this - or any other - explanation. Simply invoke your 5th Amendment right and let a lawyer speak for you.
I hope that I have been helpful in answering your question.
