I came to the USA with my family and our kids with 10 years green to all of us. However, after 3 years, I caught my partner cheating with someone and we separated to live different state. He impregnated to someone else. I filed a divorce and the lawyer advised to do it based on separation. If I use cheating it will take a long time. But I get the green card through him. Although, we get the green cards the same time for all of us, wife, husband and kids. None of us are citizens at this time. The kids stay with my partner, but we agreed to give some support for the kids which I fully paid through out the period. They didn't ask me any question about my family and the kids. I have taken 6 years with permanent residence status and I decided to file for my N400. I have attended the N400 interview over 6 months ago, but no decision was made. I have called 800 number times without number and used congress man from my area and the response was always generic that, You application is pending or pending adjudication. We will not tell a time line of when the process will be completed. We will let you know if additional evidence is needed or any issue is to be resolved with your application.
These naturalization cases are taking a very long time.
