My partner is under f1 category under family based visa. We’re waiting for his interview letter, probably by january. Hopefully after passing the interview, by april or may he can go to US. After he gets his green card, we are planning to get married as soon as possible so we can all be together because we have 2 kids already, the eldest is coming to US with him and the youngest will follow to join. In short i will be left alone in the Philippines. That’s why we are in a hurry to get married as soon as we get his greencard. By december we are planning the wedding but we don’t know if he can marry me and apply a visa for me. Or do we just wait for him to be a US citizen before we get married. We’re looking for a fastest way. :(
Perhaps he will be issued a visa within six months. If he immigrates to the U.S., and both he and your are single, he can return to your country and marry you. He can file a petition for you once you are married.

When looking for a fastest way to be together it is generally advised to consult with an immigration attorney. Otherwise, you can be married in the Philippines by December or immediately after your fiancé gets his green card.
