Okay. I'm sick of my parents, they say they are helping me but they aren't, they took all my stuff and won't allow me to see friends, all because I did one bad thing and I have to go to court on July 5th because of it, the offences were mistimeaners. Can I run away to live with a friend and his parents without getting in bad trouble?
Short answer NO. Until you reach the age of majority (18), your parents have dominion over you. If you run away, your parents can have law enforcement retrieve you.
It is possible to apply to the court to emancipate you from your parents; however this process requires legal expertise (hire an attorney) and is probably not going to work out under these circumstances.
On the bright side, you have less than one year until you are 18.
