The defendant send me a request for production of the documents I had already disclosed during the initial disclosure. In fact I even gave them the copies. Can I object under the basis that the request is burdensome, and repeated request since the defendant already has the document in possession from the initial disclosure?
If you have already produced the documents, you should advise the defendant of same. If they have lost that which you produced, you should offer to produce them again, but tell them that you want to be paid for the actual cost of producing them a second time.
