I got sued by a credit card company. The judge overruled the case for no service of process.
Lack of service of process does not result in permanent dismissal. They may refile the case to collect. They have a minimum of 5 years to sue on bad credit card debt, and maybe as much as 15. Courts in KY are split on this issue.
