After removing kidney stone, DR. left 2 of 3 wires in. Wires have grown to tissue. Having SURGERY to remove them. Any chance of compensation??
You left out a lot of facts and details from your post that make it difficult to answer. Assuming the doctor that operated on you was negligent, and if he died after performing surgery on you, and if the hospital where you had the surgery went bankrupt after the surgery, and assuming it has been less than two (2) years since the surgery, then you can sue the doctor's estate (his insurance will still provide coverage), but you may be prevented from suing the hospital based on the bankruptcy.
You should contact a local medical malpractice attorney indoor area and have your medical records reviewed to see if you have a case.
