I am not married to my son's father and we do not have a court order for visitation. Our son is 1.5 and has significant developmental delays, health issues and will be requiring another surgery soon. I do not let his father take him anywhere alone due to safety and health concerns but he does visit him at my home a couple times a week. Our son is scheduled to have a big surgery next month and I am looking for advice on how to manage visitation while he is in the hospital. I do not want his father with him while I am not there again due to the safety and health concerns. Any advice on how to manage this would be appreciated.
You could file in court, you could talk to your attorney about it, you could talk to your son's father about it, you could talk to the hospital about it, you could talk to law enforcement about it, you could look into other options. These are all just general statements, based on what you wrote. Best of luck to you and your family.
