My ex-wife has quit her job and has told me that she will go to court and ask for more money in support. We have joint custody and she already receives $950 and of that $350 is for daycare. She has also asked for more money for daycare.
Most likely, no, she will not receive more support. Generally, the court will hold her to the earning capacity or income from her last job. Also, if she is no longer paying daycare, you should likely file to modify support to have that provision removed from the order.
As always, it would be best to consult with an experienced family law attorney to discuss all the details of the case before deciding how to proceed.

The money is usually not for the wife. The money is for the kids. You should speak with an attorney about representing your interests. Do not let her take you for a ride.
