My soon to be ex, does not like my current girlfriend. She has threatened to keep my kids from me, in order to keep them away from her. My current girlfriend has no legal record, and has never been anything but wonderful to my children. Is there a situation where this would hold water.
Assuming she has no legal record and is not doing anything that is not in the best interests of the children, the short answer is no. However, you should consult with an attorney in person for a free consultation if she is keeping your kids away from you.
Wife would have to establish that girlfriend presents some danger to the kids before a judge would restrict you from having her around when the kids are with you. This situation is fairly common, especially if the other party is not dating. Discuss the situation with an attorney, because you can otherwise make some mistakes here.
Yes - she can. . . unless you get a court order for parenting time.
