The short answer to your question is yes, but you would need to provide significant additional information to help an attorney properly advise you. The court considers a list of factors when making an initial child custody determination in order to provide a parenting schedule that is in the child's best interest. Also, the court is supposed to "order a custody arrangement that permits both parents to enjoy the maximum participation possible in the life of the child consistent with the [child custody] factors ..., the location of the residences of the parents, the child's need for stability and all other relevant factors." TCA 36-6-106(a).
