Your probation can be revoked for any conduct that violates any condition of your probation. Your probation obviously has a condition of not committing any new crimes but it also includes other conditions which make noncriminal conduct a probation violation. For instance no possession or use of alcohol might be a condition of your probation and so if your probation officer believes you possessed or used alcohol your probation can be revoked and you can be sentenced to serve some or all of the remaining portion of your sentence.
The question may come down to, whether it can be proved that you in fact violated your probation conditions. If the alcohol containers did not belong to you and you did not use or possess any of the alcohol then you did not violate your probation. if the alcohol was in your home and you had access to it, there might be an argument that you possessed it even if you never physically had a beer in your hand. You have the right to a hearing to contest the allegations. Probation hearings are a strange and sometimes complicated proceeding. That is why you need a lawyer.
