Is CPS wronfully takes my parental rights away after ive done everything can i get them reinstated
If a final order has been entered-you have 30 days to appeal the order to the Oklahoma Supreme Court. That will not automatically reinstate parental rights-the trial court would have to be reversed. If it is more than 30 days-it would have be extraordinary facts to vacate the Order. You have limited time-very limited time.
In addition to what Ms. Harcourt said, it’s a very high bar to demonstrate that your parental rights were wrongfully terminated (although it may still be done, depending on the specific circumstances of the case). This is a very difficult challenge to make, even for experienced attorneys who have never practiced in juvenile court. I strongly suggest that you consult as soon as possible with an attorney who has some experience in the juvenile court.
