I accidently lost the wand to the scanner we use at work for inventory and they fired me is that allowed
They can fire you for no reason or for any reason, so long as it is not a protected reason such as race, gender, etc. Losing something belonging to your employer is not a protected reason so yes, they can fire you for that.
