My husband's ex petitioned for a review of child support 3 months before our daughter is due to arrive. Can he make it known and have the expense considered since it will drastically affect his expenses in the next year? What if the court date is set for after she arrives? Is there any way to have her impending birth considered?
Will we have to request a review after she is born if she isn't considered?
Thank you for your time!
The most consideration he can get is a hardship deduction on the DissoMaster calculation. If the baby isn't born yet when he has the hearing, he could request that support be modified again for the month following the anticipated birthdate to avoid the need to file another RFO.
