My husband works for an employer who has 8 employee.He works there about 10 months and is on payroll.He had a car accident (not related to work ) and now is under therapy and in a pain all the time .He had herniated discs and it makes very difficult for him to work or even walk.Can he get paid sick leave?If yes how many days or hours and how many percent of his salary can he get?Can his employer rid of him because of the sick leave?Thanks for answers.
Your question should really be directed to employment attorneys - I have redirected it. That said, in NY, No Fault benefits will pay a certain percentage of lost earnings up to a point. Did he file a no fault claim? Is he pursuing a lawsuit?
