We are both in high school and she is 15 and I am 17, but her sister who is a senior tells her parents that I supposedly "Stalk" her even though she chooses to hangout with me, and Her parent's think that I am a bad person because of some lies told to my friend's sister by her best-friend. I have never had any Legal issues. We hang out every day even though her parents tell her not to. If you would like to know more information or a better explanation please email me at [email protected]
If you actually engaged in conduct that met the legal definition of stalking, they could get a protective order against you. But it doesn't sound like that's what's happening. To constitute "stalking" there has to be harassment or threatening behavior involved. Just hanging out with her when she chooses to hang out with you is not stalking.
