Me and my friend both plan on going to college together and renting an apartment but we aren't sure if she can legally live with me. I'm 18 but by the time we get the apartment she will still be 17 for about another two weeks. If she has parent consent to move out, is it legal?
It should be OK if her parents agree.

A 17 year old can move out with parental consent. Renting an apartment, however, may be a problem; a minor does not have the legal capacity to enter into a contract, such as a lease agreement.
I agree with Mr. St. Julian. The bigger problem might be finding a landlord willing to rent to a 17 year-old.
