My fiancé might get a new job in Florida and we would have to relocate. My ex husband is in jail but suppose to get out within a month or two. Can he stop me from moving?
He can try, but it will be difficult for him to do from jail. The parental relocation statute requires that you give 60 days notice to the non-custodial parent prior to a move. The other parent then has 30 days to object. The court will then decide what is to be done. I recommend that you contact an attorney.
