My soon to be ex has had 2 attorneys so far during our divorce. One quit a few months ago (my ex would not follow the judges orders nor listen to the advice of this attorney) and he just put in a motion to fire his 2nd attorney because at our last hearing the judge ordered my ex to pay 50% of my attorney fees. He has already retained his new attorney. We have a mediation hearing in 1 week and our trial starts August 20th. Can my ex get attorney #3 this late in the game? Thanks!
Yes, he can. Your real question should be whether or not a new attorney entering case is a basis to continue trial date. Cannot answer that as answer depends on knowing more facts. But you have a lawyer who knows your case and is in a better position to answer your questions.
