On monday i needed to go to the doctors and my day off was on thursday of this week. Employer said because i went to the doctors on monday that was my day off. Can my employer take my day off on thursday because i went to the doctors on Monday.

I am not sure if you appreciate the nature of the question: are you asking whether the employer must pay you when you are not working because of a doctor's appointment??? Unless you state or locality has a law providing for a certain amount of paid sick days, the answer is that the employer can treat it as a day off and pay you for the day off if you are entitled to it....
