I started school in Puerto Rico for nursing, I’m currently leaving in NYS I will have to travel to PR for my clinical in May for 3 months. I work as utilization review in my company and asked them if they could hold my position or my job and give me a leave of absence with no pay or if they would be able to hold my position until I can come back. They haven't give me a response.
There is no legal obligation for them to keep your job open for three months while you go to Puerto Rico for your clinical.
