I've been working for my employer over 4 yrs. the 1st year i used my vacation and sick time end of year. 2012-13, she and I discussed days to change out files/ bring files to storage which didn't take long. We agreed on days i would take off. i wanted to use my vacation time end of year into the New Year. She emailed me saying later she didn't think i could do that (she had to ask her husband first). who said i cant. the result was i came in with hardly no work to do while they were on vacation. i told HR i want to use my vacation as i like next year: 2014, before i put in for vacation i get another email of my days off. i told HR i need a day off for a family emergency and 1 off in Dec. i said i can use 1 vacation days (as she did) Mary claims i cant do that but take it as unpaid?
