My boyfriend is 29 and im 15, and the police said he raped me even though we both agreed that we wanted to have sex with each other. I know it was wrong because he is over 18. If he is in jail now, but we haven't had court yet, can he be bailed out before or after court? or does he have to stay in jail for a certain amount of time?
Yes a reasonable bond should be set and a bondsmen can help bond him out of jail. Please note this allegation is a serious felony offense and you should not post admissions to the crime on a public website. Contact an experienced, local criminal defense attorney immediately for assistance.

If bail has been set than he can be bailed out. It is possible that he has been remanded, in which case no bail has been set and he will remain in jail. The police are right that he raped you. You are incapable of giving consent under the law because of your age. Therefore it is called statutory rape. Whether or not you wanted to have sex is irrelevant. He is in a lot of trouble.
You posted about this twice yesterday. You are not old enough to give consent. That's why the crime is called statutory rape. You need to stay away from this person until you are 18. Let your mother deal with the authorities.
Are you trying to stir up more trouble?

You need to talk to a bondsman to see.He better have a criminal lawyer as he is going to need it. This is statutory rape. Why would a 29 year old man have sex with a 15 year old? The term jail bait means something.
DA's can read too and they know about this site.
He can be bailed out if a bond was set and someone can afford to post it. Your consent is irrelevant due to your age. You cannot legally consent. He is in serious trouble, and you are probably making it worse by posting facts on a public forum. You shouldnt be dating a 29 year old at 15, and he should be old enough to know better.
He doesn't have to stay in jail a certain amount of time before posting bond. A Judge or Magistrate will set the amount of the bond. However, if your boyfriend does post a bond, one of the conditions of the bond will be that he not have any contact with you. If there is any contact, then your boyfriend would probably have to go back to jail.
