I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant with my boyfriends child. I don’t want the baby or be with my boyfriend. I already have 2 kids from a precious marriage and so close to graduating school.
My boyfriend does NOT want to do adoption. Instead he wants the baby. After thought, I decided ok. How possible is it I can give him the baby and sign my rights away and not pay child support?
Not likely at all. If he takes custody of the child, he has every right to go after you for child support. Your rights can not be terminated if the Father takes custody unless he has someone else to step in and adopt. Therefore, your obligation to support will remain in full force and effect.
Until your parental rights are formally terminated by the court for the child, there is a risk that you will be required to pay child support.
