Hi! I have a paternity hearing scheduled by a man who thinks he may be my 2 month olds father. I am not 100% sure that he is. My boyfriend takes full responsibility of my child in every aspect, regardless if he is the father or not. My question is, can me and my boyfriend sign an affidavit of parentage before the hearing date and by doing that, not have to take a dna test in order to establish paternity?
If there is already a request for paternity in your case, you will have to go through with the paternity case to determine wither or not the man is the biological father.
