Long story short I was wrongfully evicted that I’m about to file motions to overturn it. Landlord refused to give me back my personal property, it was my business, then he sold my property to himself and has kept the proceeds for over 2 months now. He will. It give me the proceeds after taking what he’s legally entitled to unless I sign a release of liability that he calls a receipt. I refuse to sign anything that gives up my rights to hold him accountable for his illegal actions. Therefore he refuses to give me the money. He then took me to small claims court and won which I am filing to vacate that as well. He wants to keep the money from my property to satisfy the judgement, can he do this? He also say he can put a lien against my RV that I reside in with my husband and our small child and then take it and sell it, is this true? This seems like he’s trying to cause me stress, emotional distress, is this Some form of harassment? He has done things illegally, he’s dishonest, he stole my inheritance basically, the financial hardship he has put on my family is devastating. What can I do? Is there a monetary receipt for me to offer him? I refuse to give up my rights to sue him. Help!
