My landlord agreed to a one year lease agreement via text message. I have been having problems with the property manager since move in day and I have been asked to leave due to personality conflict between the property manager and I. I have made police reports regarding the property manager harassing me and was told by the police if she comes into my backyard again taking pictures of my items to call the police and they would have her trespassed. I e-mailed my landlord as to whats going on and the next day he asked me to leave within 30 days. My landlord is treating this like a month to month and I'm wondering if the text message saying the lease was for a year would be binding in court. I paid first and last month rent so if I'm on a month to month why would I have to pay for last month.

The landlord can terminate a tenancy and, ultimately evict if you do not move, for what you call a personality conflict. The length of the tenancy determines the amount of notice necessary for the landlord to terminate the tenancy, If there is no defined in to your tenancy, however, you cannot "live out your last month's rent" based upon your call.
