Can I write in a relative's home address for the "physical location of the business" on the EIN application for online business?
(Background info: licensed in and was recently approved for a domestic LLC in state A, but currently live in state B. Moving to state A in a few months, and will only meet with clients in state A)

You can have an LLC in any state you choose whether you live there or not. You can use any address for the business where you will receive the mail in the EIN application.
There will be other questions you find as you seek to open an e-commerce web site or App. In my experience, working with a lawyer as you begin will save you a lot of money in the future.

You may want to discuss your situation with a lawyer in more detail. Many lawyers on Avvo offer a free phone consultation.

You should provide the business address where you maintain activities, sort out how you will be taxed for those activities, review your professional licensing requirements, and hopefully you have secured insurance coverage (E&O and CGL). Best wishes building your business.
